hello! I’m glad you’re here.

My photography style focuses on natural light, studio or outdoor ,portraits of individuals and families. My intention is to pay careful attention to the people I am photographing and notice what mattes most to them. I strive to catch the small, mundane, messy moments of life and document them in all their ordinary, extraordinary beauty. However you show up, whatever you’re wearing, whatever happens during the session, I want you to feel as if you can be your authentic self. I generally do not ask for specific poses, however I am happy to offer some suggestions or directions if, like me, sounds more than a bit terrifying. I strive to honor each person's authentic self and celebrate them visually exactly as they are.

Caroline is the best at making her subjects feel comfortable and laugh, which creates photo magic! She goes the extra mile to get that perfect shot--including climbing into bushes, up trees, and wedging herself into small spaces.

Five stars for Caroline Catlin, for sure! My wife and I were so lucky to have found her for our maternity shoot. Caroline was incredibly patient, kind and had a keen eye for capturing beautiful candid moments. Her thoughtful creative expression was appreciated--- she seamlessly both guided each photo set and let us lead with some of our ideas. It was a wonderfully fun and sincere photoshoot, and we highly recommend her for your next photo needs!"

Working with Caroline for an infant/family photo session was an absolute dream! Caroline is very personable, and even though both of us parents can be pretty awkward in front of the camera, the two hour session felt more like hanging out with a friend. We wanted a "slice of life" series, and we got that in spades. The photos we got were beautiful and personal, perfectly capturing our current state of life. Caroline's prices were very reasonable and the turnaround time matched what we had discussed on the front end. We would highly recommend Caroline for an infant/family photo session!

I've worked with Caroline for a few years, and it's been great to see her grow as an artist! While I've only had the honor of working with Caroline for portrait photography, she has a talent for many different styles of photography. Book now!
